Shane Ferguson
Founder

Shane originally started his career at JP Morgan before transitioning into recruitment starting on the 2004 Graduate Scheme at a large scale blue chip recruitment company.  Following rotations across different markets as part of the training scheme Shane joined the Financial Services division specialising in Investment Management operations.  Shane then went on to launch the Hedge Fund desk in 2006 and became the groups global top biller in the years that he remained at the group, achieving highest number of contractors out in 2008 and exceeing £1m in fees that same year.  In 2010 Shane Co Founded a Global Recruitment business leading its Hedge Fund division for all non-investment hires achieving a financial event and successful exit in 2019.  Following a non-compete period in 2019/20, Shane launched Attribution Search in 2020, providing high performing talent solutions, market analysis and competitor mapping for Hedge Funds.

He enjoys time with his wife, family and friends and has a passion for fitness and wellness.  He dedicates time to cross fit and cycling, including Hyrox, Turf Games, Kent to Paris, Kent to Amsterdam, West of Ireland, the Italian Lakes and climbing the iconic Madonna del Ghisallo. 

Shane is laser focused on a culture of high performance, collaboration and support. 

Shane is excited to scale Attribution Search to further success, particularly in it’s regional coverage and breaking into new sectors. 

Shane holds a BA in Business and Finance from Bournemouth University.
