Dom has >10 years recruitment experience purely dedicated to the Hedge Fund space.

A proud New Zealander and following a successful semi-professional rugby career at Blackheath and Old Albanians, he was hired by Shane in 2014.  Shane and Dom worked closely together across a number of different investment strategies, asset classes and AUM with a particular focus on Middle Office/Operations, Fund Accounting and Product Control.

Dom has expanded his coverage at Attribution Search to cover both London and the US across most verticals non-investment and marketing.  Dom is likely to have some of the most deep-rooted relationships across the market.  Most of the mandates Dom engages on are retained or on an exclusive basis.  A huge amount of Dom’s book of work is repeat business. 

Dom has helped build teams at a number of Tier 1 hedge funds and launches.  His main sponsors typically include CEO’s CFO’s, COO’s, Head of Operations and Head of Fund Finance.  All of Dom’s client work is on a referral basis which he blends with targeted approaches to the more passive and elusive hedge fund talent pool.  This means, much of what Dom engages on, he places.  

Dom has replaced his previous rugby career with a continued dedication to fitness, either running, hitting the assault bike, or jumping on the rower before he seizes the recruitment day! He is a strong believer in the correlation between daily exercise and achieving at work. 

Dom lives in Canary Wharf, is an Arsenal season ticker holder courtesy of Attribution Search and is a regular in the Kings Head Mayfair on a Friday late afternoon, where he brings together an ever-evolving community of liked minded hedge fund clients and candidates - many of whom he can now genuinely call close friends.
